Cookie Policy

What Inside Hockey stores in your browser, why it is needed, and what we do not use.

Inside Hockey uses only essential cookies and similar browser storage needed to protect public resources, operate accounts and complete programme registration. We do not currently use website analytics, advertising, remarketing, affiliate tracking or social tracking pixels.

What these technologies are

A cookie is a small piece of data a website can store through your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain settings or account state without sending that value with every request. This policy covers both.

Essential technologies cannot be switched off through a preference banner because the relevant security, account or registration function would not work correctly. We therefore do not display a cookie banner while no optional tracking operates.

Essential technologies we use

  • Cloudflare/Supabase protection (`__cf_bm`). A server cookie used to protect publicly served training media and data from automated abuse. It expires after about 30 minutes.
  • Outseta authentication settings. Persistent local storage named `outseta.auth--inside-hockey.outseta.com.settings` holds the configuration needed to provide Inside Hockey sign-up, sign-in and account access.
  • Outseta account-interface settings. Persistent local storage named `outseta.nocode--inside-hockey.outseta.com.settings` holds the configuration needed to display the account and billing interface.
  • Outseta account access state. After sign-in, Outseta stores a time-limited access token locally so the website can keep you signed in and authorise protected account requests. It is cleared when you sign out, when it expires or when you clear the relevant browser storage.
  • Programme registration handoff (`inside_hockey_programme_handoff`). An encrypted, HTTP-only cookie that connects a selected player and accepted legal documents to the Camp payment confirmation. It expires after 30 minutes and cannot be read by browser scripts.

YouTube videos

Inside Hockey uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain and does not load the video player until you choose to play a video. If you play a video or open it on YouTube, YouTube may process device or usage information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your browser controls

You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing Outseta account state will sign you out. Removing the programme handoff before payment is confirmed may require you to repeat the participant-selection and acceptance steps.

Changes to this policy

We review the site with a cookie scanner and update this policy when its technology changes. Before adding analytics, advertising, remarketing, affiliate measurement or another optional tracker, we will introduce appropriate consent controls and update this policy.
